Description

When it comes to ease of use, these Reflex Sights are king. The Hawkeye Red/Green Dot Sight features a wide FOV(field-of-view) for easy target aquisition. After getting it sighted in with the elevation and windage adjustment its so simple to use.

Just follow these steps:

  1. Put the dot on the target.
  2. Keep it there as you slowly squeeze the trigger.

It’s that simple! This is the easiest way to teach kids how to shoot a gun and keep them coming back. It is very lightweight and low-profile and is the BEST option for a small BB gun optic or handgun. The Hawkeye features two selector knobs. One is for turning on/off, selecting the color, and brightness of the reticule. The other is for selecting the reticule pattern. I prefer the single dot, but I’ve found that kids really like the crosshairs.

    I bought this sight due to failing eyesight. After getting this sight, I researched red dot reflex sights and learned about red dots with the shake awake option. I was dismayed at first for not buying a more expensive shake awake sight.

    I tried to find information on how long the battery life is on this unit with no luck. So I decided to test battery life on this sight for myself.

    I put a new energizer battery in it and set it aside on my Bulldog on May 2, 2024 with the circle dot reticle selected and on the low setting, which is perfect for my indoor use.

    I check it each morning to see if it is still working . It is June 1, 2024 and it is still as bright as it was on May 2, 2024.

    I originally picked up this red dot for a 2240 custom build, but after trying it out, I realized that I like the magnification of a traditional optic better. That being said, I will definitely be installing this on a full auto BB carbine that now only has open sights. The relatively low velocity and limited range of the BB rifle should be a good match for this.

    Incredible value for the money. Used on my PRod to replace a more expensive enclosed red dot. Due to my astigmatism I could not use the red dot but the Hawkeye with its' green reticle in a bullseye pattern was very usable. Those that have astigmatism may want to look at this reflex sight.

    I wouldn't mind if the adjustment "clicks" were a little more click-y. But they're good enough, and you don't need to adjust them very often so no big deal.
    My only gripe of any kind is the parallax. If you move your head around behind the sight the point of impact is going to be off, possibly by quite a bit. (This is an amazing low cost sight, I am *not* faulting it for this. Go spend $400 on a high end sight if this really bothers you.) On a rifle where you have a good cheek weld on the stock this is likely a total non-issue. I have it on a pistol. I just need to be careful to keep the reticle mostly centered in the sight when I'm shooting and it's not really a problem. I am sure I am more inaccurate than the sight or the pistol are.

    There’s an instructional video on the product page and the cheesy Chinese instructions that come with the red dot sometimes gets stuck in the box lid. Turn the box lid over and check it out. They’ll be there.



    This IS a family business. I make 90% of our products in my garage. We have airgun parts stored in our bedroom. My wife does the shipping, my kids do the assembling. Doesn’t get more family-business like than that.

    Perfect for the price. I couldn’t bring myself to spend more for a scope than what I paid for a Crosman 1377 so I took a gamble on this and the necessary Buck Rail mounting brackets. After getting it zeroed in, I’m finally accurate at 25 yards. Couldn’t be more impressed; just sorry I overlooked the 1377 silencer somehow!
