If yur laser shuts off due to recoil (gas piston) or just fails to turn on when you push the switch after it was working correctly before? Remove the switch itself by unscrewing it from the laser body. Then unscrew (CCW) the inner retaining ring. It has two slots/notches in it and I used a pair of pointed tweezers to grab both notches at the same time. Remove the switch body next by sliding it out of the housing. There are 4 (four) little triangle shaped tabs that are supposed to make contact with the switch housing. Use a jeweler's flat head screwdriver to bend the tabs out 45 degrees again. Ensure the button batteries haven't flipped upside down and are still in the correct +/- position. Re-insert switch back into the housing, install inner ring securely, and then screw the switch back into the laser body while ensuring it is pointed away from anyone's eyes in case the switch is already in the on position.

Now go put a dot on something. Yur Welcome! \(^_^)/

This is a great addition to my Umarex home defense 50 caliber. No need to aim. Laser was easily adjusted and easily seen indoors or nighttime. I feel if your using a crescent wrench to adjust your laser, your over powering this small device. Mine came with instructions and common sense. Great product.

You can totally replace the batteries too, no need to just throw it out like this other clown says.

I got this with the tri-rail mount for my Air bug.
It is very bright, it is may out of metal, it comes with good fitting Allen wrench's.
However no instructions ( like others like this I got) the adjustment screws seem pretty much worthless
I wound up bending the mount with a large crescent wrench to get it "in the ball park".
When the battery's die I think its goes in the garbage and maybe keep the mount if you can find a flashlight of the correct diameter to replace the lazer
