Description

The Huben GK1 might just be the Holy Grail of PCP Pistols. Sleek minimalistic form factor yet very powerful and semi-auto. None of these things are new in and of themselves, but all three in a PCP pistol is certainly unique. I’ve put a lot of thought into the design of these parts. They are sleek, thoughtfully designed, and add an imperial ton of utility and fun to this platform. These are priced well because I’ve worked hard at keeping the cost low without compromising quality. I’ve partnered with another Texas-based manufacturer to have these made in super tough MJF PA12 Nylon with a bead blasted matte-black finish.

The grip adapter makes it so that you can make use of the many AR grips on the market. It will come with a grip. Choose from a few of our favorite options. I highly recommend the MOE-K grip. The small grip and reduced rake pair perfectly with a carbine configuration.

This adapter includes a rear pic for mounting a stock. There is a little room to move the stock up and down to get the cheek comb where you need it. It works great with a Strike Industries Dual Folder, Midwest Industries, or JMAC skeletonized folding stock. It also works well with our Poor Man’s Side Folder and our QD Takedown Stock Adapter. You can mount any stock, brace, or stock adapter that is made to mount on a rear facing 1913 picatinny rail.

PLEASE READ:

I do not show it in the V1 video, but you will need to insert the small M3 nut into the hex hole in the grip adapter opposite the grip rib.

Installation will require a punch small enough to punch out the 2.5mm trigger pin and a 4mm, 3mm, and 2.5 hex driver. Please watch the install video before purchasing. I have been told that some GK1 models will need the trigger punched out from the left side. Mine had to be punched out from the right side. Figure out which side has the knurling and knock it out from the opposite side.

    Recently bought the grip adapter kit. I ordered the Magpul MOE K2 grip in black. The kit is of very good design and manufacture. The ease of installing the kit from a scale of 1-10 is about a 3. The video that is on their site makes it very clear on what pieces go where. By adding the kit the pistol is considerably lighter. My only regret is ordering the Magpul MOE K2 and not ordering the Magpul MOE K2-XL since my hands are I guess larger than normal. The recoil from the pistol with a smaller grip does make my groupings more erratic. The kit was mailed to me within a day or order and was received rather quickly. Awesome job from the Buck Rail team!!!

    The kit arrived here in the Netherlands very quickly! I ordered the kit for my huben GK1 v3. The kit looks great and with the instruction video it was easy to install. After install the first time, the trigger did not properly reset. After re-installing the kit it worked fine. It might have been that the triggerpin was too tight the first time i punched it in, or that the trigger bar was rubbing too much against the frame of the adapter due to the tight tollerances. The material the grip adapter is made from seems the same as the quick release stock adapter. Since the latter broke on me, i do have small doubts about durability, but perhaps i just had bad luck with the qr-adapter.
    But for now, this item works great for me!

    The quality of this grip adapter is on another level, the detail and finish make it look and feel like a factory part. Fitting is easy, aided by the instructional video, mine is for a V3 so slightly different to the V1. I originally ordered the V1 version but sadly it did not fit the V3, this was rectified as Terry sent me out a V3 version as soon as it was available at no extra cost to me ( I live in the UK ) now that is customer service.
    I am just waiting for Terry to release the light weight stock for the GK1 so I can make my next purchase from this great company.
