Crosman 1/2-20 Threaded Adapter

Description

This adapter allows you to add a 1/2-20 threaded suppressor to a 7/16″ Crosman barrel. It will work with a Crosman 2240, 2289, 760, and 2300. It is not compatible with the 1322/1377 unless you’ve added an extended barrel. Similar to the Drifter/Backpacker etc. This adapter is compatible with our Polycarbonate 1/2-20 Suppressor

There are two option. The one without the front sight post has a smooth OD. The one with a front sight post has a dovetail groove cut into the top to accept a front sight. It will include an ASA 3d printed front sight. It can easily be filed, painted, glued, etc. to your liking.

The adapter is machined from 4140 Steel and black oxide coated. The adapter slips on to the barrel and is secured with two set screws. The hex key used for installation is included. Also included is a thread protector cap for when you do not have a suppressor installed.

The Steel adapter was designed by me, but manufactured in Taiwan, the set screws and allen keys are bought from American companies, but manufactured in China, I 3d print the thread protector caps in ASA in the US.

    My 2240XL arrived with the attached suppressor adapter misaligned on the barrel enough to cause pellets to clip the suppressor’s muzzle end. I had already put 4 hours work into smoothing and polishing the pistol’s parts when I discovered this, so exchanging the pistol for replacement was not an option. I purchased a 2240 barrel and this BuckRail adapter which fixed my problem. I liked that the adapter is held to the barrel with 2 set screws.

    Worked very well. Better design than most I’ve seen out there. Really loved the front sight option. If you added the fiber optic option to the sight I would buy another one. The two guns pictured are a Crosman P1377 and Benjamin Marauder pistol. Both of them have upgraded internals and hand built storage boxes in the Crosman stocks. All pretty much functional additions. Not really into bling. There are a myriad of Buck Rail products on these guns. I am very pleased with your company’s products, design, and support.

    If you are looking for a quality, customizable, and adjustable iron sights setup for the 13xx, that also allows you to use the buck rail suppressor, the front post version of this adapter is a must have.

    The adapter on a 12in barrel together with a Williams WGRS-54 peep sight and a Browning Bl-22 front sight post (.450in high with dot of orange paint) works perfect and is super accurate.

    This setup allows the front sight post to be tall enough to clearly aim and see over the suppressor and the rear sight to be set to mid elevation so there is plenty of room for fine tuning.

    I got this for a 1322 project. It fit great but I hadn’t realized the threads were for a much smaller ID moderator than the one I got for my 1377. That’s my confusion not on the company but I had planned on using the same moderator on both.

    With prices so reasonable I’m not worried about it and will just buy a compatible moderator.

    Solid steel and the fit and finish is very nice. Has two grub screws to hold it in place. I used one of them to hold on the adaptor and the other one for a sight post that screwed right into the hole. No other adaptor has two holding screws so it worked out great thanks to Buck Rails engineering.
