Description
This micro red dot comes in at just 2.75 inches in length and 2.1 inches in total height (1.9 above the rail). The single red dot reticule is 3 MOA. The elevation and windage adjustments can be made with a flat head screwdriver in 1 MOA increments.
The base mounts on a 21mm Picatinny/Weaver rail with a screw through the middle. If you want to mount this on the more common dovetail grooves you’ll need to use a dovetail to picatinny adapter or riser. This will be necessary on the Diana Chaser, Airbug, Bandit, Crosman 13XX/2240 Steel Breech, etc. There are many cheap options out there. We have one here: https://buck-rail.com/product/dovetail-to-picatinny-adapter/
You can also mount it with an optional 1″ co-witness riser. If you’re not certain if you need the riser or not, just pay the extra $3 and set it aside if it turns out that you don’t. The risers will not be sold separately.
This Red Dot is compatible with our Crosman mounts. I prefer to use the single extended mount without the riser.
Included with your Red Dot will be a set of rubber dust covers, a battery, allen key, lens cleaning cloth, and some very Chinesey paper instructions.
With obstacles such as outbuildings, Trees, landscaping & Close Neighbors - I don't really Have any 'shooting Lanes' over 30 yds... but it makes for Varmint Habitat!
The Micro Dot handles the Situation quite well!
very good value, great for air rifle.
Red dot is is not a crisp dot, it's fuzzy.
This is not an inexpensive Aimpoint.
Almost useless.
I have a reflex site too, and it's tough to say which one I like better.
It's a little faster to aim when you use the reflex version, but I find it harder to know when the red dot is perfectly centered in the glass, so my accuracy is slightly better with this micro-red dot tube version.
I have gotten a few bad flyers which I've never had before with my Hw30s. I'm not sure if that was pellet related or optic related. I'll update this review when I figure it out!
