This is the most modular, lightweight, and affordable chassis on the market for the FX DRS Classic. It is the only chassis that accepts many full-size AR grips with beavertails, a real AR handguard from Strike Industries, and a modular stock system that allows for a host of stock options. The chassis was made to pair with our PRS style stock, but it also comes with a 1913 rear facing picatinny adapter that will accept picatinny interfacing stocks and side folders. It also comes with a threaded adapter that will accept 1-3/16×16 threaded stocks and extension tubes for AR adjustable buttstocks.

When checking out you have quite a few options. What grip do you want? What stock style? and what handguard?

The Grip

The chassis does not come with a grip. You can use your own, source it from another company, or get one of ours here: AR Grips
The grip shown in the pictures is a Magpul MOE-K grip, however it should work with most AR grips with or without beavertails.

The Stock

There are three stock interface options for this chassis. The primary interface is the direct mounted PRS-style buttstock that is included (by default) in this listing, but the chassis also includes a threaded adapter and 1913 picatinny adapter. If you want to go with the threaded stock you’ll also need to purchase an extension tube, castle nut, and buttstock. Another stock option that pairs well with this chassis is the Strike Industries FSA Side Folder. If you are going with either of these alternative stock options be sure to uncheck the PRS-style buttstock in this listing.

The Handguard

There are, essentially, three options for a handguard. You can go with no handguard, with our shorter SLS ARCA handguard (shown in pictures), or the 17in Strike Industries GRIDLOK LITE Handguard (shown in pictures as well). Both of these handguards are meant to be paired with the chassis and BR dovetail to picatinny riser (included with the chassis) only. They will not work on the DRS tactical or with other chassis systems. My favorite is the Strike option, but I know it’s pricey so I designed the SLS ARCA Handguard as a more affordable alternative. You could, of course, choose no handguard if you are a barbarian.
