Description
PLEASE NOTE: This buttstock is not compatible with the OEM iron sights. You will need to add an optic… if you want to aim… precisely.
I will make an install video and post it here eventually. For now, if your not comfortable with the instructions below please do not purchase:
- Ensure that the airgun is not cocked.
- Use a phillips head driver to remove the screws that secure the gray rubber grip panel from the OEM P-Five grip. Just two screws (one on each side).
- Remove the grip panel by lifting one side with your fingernail and peeling it away while moving the panel forward.
- Use a phillips head driver to remove the screws that secure the grip assembly. Six screws (Four screws on the right and two on the left).
- Carefully remove the grip assembly.
- Use a pin punch and mallet or hammer to punch out the pin securing the spring cap at the rear of the airgun. Be careful! The cap is compressing the spring. You’ll need to secure the cap to keep it from shooting off into the abyss.
- Remove the cap.
- Loosen the 1/4 bolt in the Buck Rail stock tube.
- Align the new threaded cap with the spring and tube. Push it into the air tube while aligning the pin thru-hole with the holes in the air tube.
- Reinstall the pin. Ensure that is is all the way through and flush on both sides.
- Align the rib in the adjustable stock tube to ensure that the stock will be straight up and down.
- Tighten the bolt in the tube. This will take up any slack and make the stock tube very solid with no play.
- At this point you can reinstall the grip assembly in reverse order and install your buttstock on the stock tube.
