   I installed this on my 2240 purchased a little bit over a year ago. It didn't matter if I adjusted it all the way in or out, I have a chronograph, and there was no measurable difference in the velocity either way. I contacted B.R about it and the response was quick and they mentioned something about Crosman being sold and varying specifications with new and old parts and they would look into it. That was the last I heard. I have purchased many things from B.R. in the past and have always been satisfied, except for this item. Maybe B.R. should just stick to what made it a good company in the beginning.

   Scott, I appreciate that you've made a few purchases from us in the past. Though you've been satisfied with our services and products this is your first review. Mind you, we were offering you customer service for someone else's $25 product after a year from purchase. No biggy, that's what we do. However, I was in England for over a week for the British Shooting Show (left shortly after you emailed), so Julie needed to wait until I got back to advise on this. I got back from the show and Julie forgot to follow up with me, and you. Simple as that. As far as the whole "buyer beware" thing goes, we are still just a couple of humans serving thousands of other humans as humanly as possible. We made mistakes in the past and we make them now, but we always own it and never keep money from folks who are unsatisfied. You've been refunded.    Easy to install and to adjust power on my 2240XL. Also it looks as if it was installed by the factory.
