Description

These clamping mounts were designed to replace the Benjamin B272 Intermounts. They use 2 steel socket head caps screws and nuts to provide the clamping force and prevent stripping, loosening, and slippage issues associated with the intermounts. They are 3d printed from ABS plastic in Texas by a veteran-owned business.

Note that these scope mounts, just like the intermounts, will be further forward than what is ideal for most rifle scopes. They will work best with a scope with longer eye relief like a pistol scope or a red dot (unlimited eye relief).

These mounts allow you to mount either Picatinny or Dovetail optics using the same mounts. See below for the mount profile:

I’ve tested them on the Benjamin 392 and 397 variable pump rifle. They should also be compatible with a few other airguns.

    I bought this for my Benjamin 392. I mounted a red dot optic because the raised stock was uncomfortable using iron sights. These mounts are easy to mount and very secure. At 10 yards, I can cover five shot groups with a dime.

    The only thing to note is that there is only one picatinny trough on each mount. If you have a optic with an integrated fastener that requires two trough slots, there may be a spacing issue. I encountered this issue with one of the red dots I have available. If I had wanted to use it, I would have had to carve another trough in one of the mounts with my dremel.

    Shipped quickly and arrived in great condition. Super simple to mount on my 392P. I tested with a 3-9X40 scope with dovetail mount and it worked great. Then I tested with a Reflex red dot with picatinny mount, again a perfect match! The one piece of information I would've liked to see included with the mount is the maximum recommended torque in inch/lbs. This is the 1st plastic mount I've ever used and I don't know if it can stand up to more than 50 in/lb of torque.

    Well made and strong. Cost effective. Easy to install. Much more useful than the Crosman scope mounts which only give you a 3/8 dovetail.

    I have a vintage 300 series Benjamin single shot pump that I wanted to mount a scope onto. I first purchased the Benjamin brand metal scope adapters, which were well made- but not well designed. They clamped onto the barrel and had one screw, but when the dovetail for the scope mount was tightened, it levered the adapter mount loose enough that it slipped up and down on the barrel.
    I then ordered these Buck rail mounts, which are very well made. 3D printed out of a very strong plastic, and using two hex head screws on each to clamp onto the barrel. I will probably put a little bedding compound on them after I get the final positioning, but it does not feel like they're going to slip at all. A benefit of these mounts is that they have two dovetail sizes designed into the top of them. I used the larger dovetail, which made for a very secure fit. Highly recommended.

    I ordered my first Buck Rail and had an issue. The screws were to short. Had to make a unwanted trip to the hardware store. Bought eight screws because I had a second one on order. Then properly size them for length. Left a one star rating. So Buck Rail published my review and REFUNDED the first mount. The second one came in a few days later and the screws were perfect. Top notch outfit in my book! Also, the rails work really well with pumpers.

    I've had a scope on the Crosman 392PA since it was passed on to me. (the front sight is broken) and I have now swapped the Red Dot from my 1377RC onto the rifle in a Scout style. Makes for a better hold when I pump.

    I love the fact that these mounts use a hex nut countersunk on one side for retention - it allows you to really crank down & tighten the mount, which is made from high-quality heavy duty plastic (irregardless of whether or not it was 3D printed). Bonus - these mounts sit low enough that you are able to retain iron sight usage. I was also able to use lower picatinny scope mounts that normal to achieve a lowered sight line even closer to the barrel for less elevation discrepancy at distance.

    Assembly was straight forward, printed directions were fine. Sighting in was straightforward also. Photo enclosed ~~>finalized sighting bottom to top ~~>the top six shot group gives me confidence that the .177 pellet will go where the red dot 🔴 is.
