Description
We’ve sold a lot of Beeman Marshall Pistols with our Tactical Conversions kits pre-installed. That mean we’ve ended up with a lot of the original wood grips. They’re quite nice and I didn’t want to waste them. My sister joked that we should turn them into bookends. So here we are, but it’s no joke. They are thoughtfully designed and well made in the USA. A collaboration between two Houston, TX based companies; Raum Industries and Buck Rail.
The Beeman wood grips have been slightly modified so they can be securely fastened to the metal bookend. I reuse the weight in the grip that the original palm shelf was fastened to and I anchor a brass insert where the original grip fastener secured it to the airgun. The black steel hardware is countersunk so that they lay flush with the bookends. The bookend material is 1/8 5052 aluminum that is powder coated satin black. They come in a set of two and are 2 lbs each. Plenty heavy enough to hold your books up, but we’ve also added a flap so that the weight of the books give the bookends a little help.
They are large and go best with large books. The total height is 11-1/4 inches. Please measure and make sure they will work for you before purchasing.
