Description

This suppressor is 3d printed in super tough Polycarbonate plastic. It features 7 cone-shaped baffles with an expansion chamber at the muzzle exit. The threads are reinforced with a 1/2″-20 steel solid-walled EZ Lok insert. It was was originally tested on the Walther Parrus .177 Caliber Rifle and Crosman 2240XL, but is meant to be compatible with any 1/2″-20 threaded airgun muzzles and adapters and has since been used on many high-powered PCPs. You can select from .177/.22, .25, or .30 caliber options and choose between our smaller diameter tapered suppressor or our larger diameter suppressor without taper.

If you have any issues with accuracy, it may be that you got a bad unit. We do make mistakes, but we’re always willing to make it right. Just let us know and we’ll take care of you! If you are buying this for a JTS Airacuda Max we recommend that you get one caliber size up. The Max has had some issues with adapter misalignment that leads to clipping, etc.

PLEASE NOTE: This suppressor has been improved since publishing this video. I have added a honeycomb texture to the exterior, changed from helical insert to solid-wall EZ Lok insert, and increased internal volume without changing overall length or outside diameter.

    This airgun is a break-barrel springer and delivers a ton velocity and is very noisy. Not so friendly in the neighborhood. I added the 1/2-20 .177 suppressor with taper from Buck-Rail and you only hear the bullet hitting the target. Yeah - you still hear the mechanism, but the noise at the tip of the barrel is very quiet now. The team at Buck-Rail was awesome in helping select the appropriate adapter and in fact, it turned out I needed an adapter that was only available at DonnyFL - Buck-Rail really cares about customers being happy! Love this suppressor!!

    The quality of this 3D printed moderator is excellent! I wanted a less expensive option for my Avenger and this fit the bill. Tamed the not back yard friendly bark to a much more reasonable sound level. I pulled the Donny Fl Ronin off of my FX Crown MKII for a rather unfair comparison given the Ronin's volume, and it was quieter but not enough for the to justify the price difference to put on an Avenger. Would I recommend this to a friend? ABSOLUTELY! Fit and finish were great.

    I installed the 1.46 no taper suppressor on an Air Venturi AvengeX .22 cal air rifle. It does a very good job of quieting it down. On the Avenger-X you don't have to remove the suppressor to fill the air tube. It’s not quite as quiet as the DonnyFL Tanto but pretty close. My wife says the gun is silent but the pellet hitting target is not. For the price its a “10”.

Basically completly silenced this gun. It looks like looks like it came from the factory and belongs on gun.. Outer diameter of unit is exact match to shroud of this rifle. Registers 81 dB at 10 ft from muzzle and most of that is from the action of the gun not report from muzzle. No clipping, No POI changes, Put it on a hatzan blitz as well, wich is a fairly loud gun, and dropped 20 dB . HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend.. thank you. Best 40 bucks I've spent in a long time.

    It works and does what it was designed to do. I would buy it again if I ever needed one. It has made a very big improvement on my Air Venturi Avenger 22. This gun sounded like a real gun when I first started to shoot it in my yard. I could hear it echo through the neighborhood and it was very evident what I was doing. Now it is allot quieter and I don't hear the echoing and the "BANG" any longer.

    Chris is what every Ebay seller needs to be! If you have any problems with the suppressor he will gladly replace it and communicate with you. These suppressors are made to very tight and close specs and like anything else that you may purchase, there might be one that could be a little off specifications. Don't leave a bad review! Contact Buck-Rail first and he will work with you to keep you a happy customer.

    Attached the .30 can to my .25 caliber Seneca Aspen. What used to be loud enough to hurt my ears like a 22lr now is movie quiet. The high pitched crack is replaced with a dull low pitched thump. The trigger mechanism is the loudest part now. (Some noise present at zero PSI as at 3,000 PSI). Plastic feels very rigid and tough too with nice clean steel attachment threads too. Totally worth the money!

    I had just purchased a new 177 avenger. On the second day of use, I tripped while hold my new rifle and fell on it. I actually put a dent in the shroud. As a result it shot erratically all over the place. I thought I ruined my new gun. I saw that the buckrail supressor was made to connect and center the barrel in the shroud. I bought one and after installation it apparently centered and stabilized the barrel. Now this is one of my best shooting guns. As an added bonus my gun is also quieter. Thanks to buckrail I have gun I really enjoy shooting.

    Sighted in my new JTS Aricuda Max with out it, so I was getting a ragged hole at 12Yds.
    Screwed on the Superssor and , shots were off the whole target. Big problem clipping pellets. Contacted Manufacturer in Texas by email, got a quick response saying they were sending another at no cost.
    Got the 2ND Supressor in and put it on the Air Rifle. Much better but still a long way off of Zero. Big adjustment on scope to get to Zero again, and shots were more inconsistent, with a bigger spread. At this point I do not trust the consistency of shot strings with this supressor on the gun.. Probably will not use it. Trust?
    May order a competitors (much more expensive) suppressor as I have used them on my other Air Rifles with excellent shot consistency and results.

    Bought it for my Avenger because my poor doggo was bothered by the stock moderator. Even though YouTube reviews show minimal DB reduction (if you’ve ever looked deeply into firearm suppressors you’ll know DB readings really don’t mean squat) it clearly reduced the amount of audible sound from the rifle, so much so that all I can hear when firing is the action of the gun itself. Plus you get the benefit of supporting a fellow American, and a veteran. Thank you.

    Bought one to use on a couple of my crosman pumps (just to keep neighbors happy when target shooting) amazing results!! They say they only hear the ping from the pellets hitting the trap! A little worried about switching back and forth between the 177 and the 22 but haven't had any problems and didn't affect the accuracy one bit. Great product and can't beat the price.

    I purchased 22 Cal 1/2-20 suppressor, no taper, for my avenger bull pup. I didn't expect much. Boy was I wrong! The bull pup is a great PCP gun. But, loud. I was shooting mine at about 850 fps because over that, it was not accurate. After installing the Buck Rail suppressor, I am shooting at over 900 fps and stacking at 50 yds. Also, great a t 100 yds. I don't have a db measuring device but can tell you the difference is amazing. I guess the suppressor acts as a stripping device because it is much more accurate at higher fps. I haven't gone above the 900 fps at this point because I am only using Crossman 14.3 pellets. I will be ordering another for my Armada soon. Get one, you won't regret it.

    It definitely takes the "bark" out of the shot. Keep in mind I'm reviewing the .30 caliber on a Umarex Gauntlet which is a LOUD gun. So it's still has some sound to it but DEFINITELY, I repeat DEFINITELY worth buying before going out and spending hundreds on those other guys. Sounds more like a pneumatic air nailer now. A quiet peck or crack instead of a giant boom.

It's light, mine had no detrimental effect on accuracy, it screwed on easily and significantly reduced the report, though still substantial,as mine is still tuned supersonic. I expect even better results when I tune down to under 1050 fps. Thanks buck rail!

    Bought the 1/2-20 UNF Suppressor for my Hatsan Jet II. I wanted to see what the difference was without it and with the suppressor. I had heard the bark of the Hatsan Jet II was very loud, approaching using a real 22. Well that wasn't a lie, I fired one shot from it and it cracked louder than I expected. I threw the suppressor on and WOW, the difference in sound is amazing! It is super quiet now, sounds like a small bubble wrap ball popping now. Very impressed with the look of the suppressor and that it is truly doing the job it is supposed to. I also purchased the Air Arms S510 adaptor and it went on flawlessly as well. Thank you Buck Rail for the great price and amazing product. I will definitely be coming back to you for all my future purchases.

    It lowers noise considerably, way better than the one they sell for the Akela specifically. However the adapter fitting is misaligned which causes pellets to strike the baffles inside, so to say it's inaccurate is an understatement. The first one I bought had this issue but it was hard to tell until I shook pieces of pellets out of it, they sent me a replacement immediately but it actually had the same issue even worse, with that one I can plainly see that a pellet is striking the very first baffle. I rated it 3 stars only because of the excellent customer service, low price, and the excellent noise reduction, but I wouldn't suggest this suppressor because of the issues I've had. Ultimately I decided to bite the pellet and bought a Donnyfl suppressor instead. They really ought to test fire these or something, the change in accuracy makes the gun very unsafe.

As far as being dangerous... Yes, if you have your firstborn son holding your target, a misaligned suppressor is dangerous. But then again, that's dangerous anyway. What if your mind is misaligned, or your eyes, etc.? Anywho, DonnyFL is awesome. Good choice. I'm just guessing you're satisfied with the 4 other items you purchased? You've been refunded.

I did first site the pistol in before putting the suspressor on.. The pistol was dead on. After I put the suspressor it wasn't even hitting paper.The best adjustment I could get was 4 inch's high .3 inch's left from bulls eye. Took it off ,everything's fine.     I have them on my Sortie, Jet and Avenger. Substantially reduce the noise. And let me tell you that Buck-Rail's customer service and follow up is beyond comparison. And I appreciate that their veteran owned. I'm a service connected disabled war veteran myself.

    Everything, from the product itself to the packaging that it comes in, is just 100% perfect in first class.

    And the accuracy I get with my Avenger Bullpup in .177 is very good. Take a look at this 10 shot group from 100 feet from this morning, using this suppressor.

    First, the customer service at Buck Rail is fantastic. I ordered a .25 cal 1/2-20 UNF moderator for my .22 PCP (this is recommended by most other moderator manufacturers). I thought it would prevent any pellet clipping. There must have been a slight misalignment of the threaded insert and my pellets were going all over the place. I contacted Buck Rail and Chris said that I didn't need to order a size larger and that he would get a new .22 cal moderator sent out to me. I received the replacement moderator and was still having some accuracy issues. It appeared that there were some fibers of the 3D printer filament that the pellets were hitting. Since these are 3D printed, I am not surprised that there could be some issues from time to time. I contacted Chris again and he promptly took care of it and I now have a new moderator that is working perfectly. My point of impact is the same (at 25 yrds) with or without the moderator. I've seen Youtubers that have a POI shift when using moderators, so I was pleasantly surprised that mine did not. I would not hesitate to order from Buck Rail again.

    Where else can you find a suppressor for a 30 cal for forty dollars. It made a very noticeable difference on my 30 cal gauntlet. This isn't my first suppressor purchased here and won't be my last thanks buckrail.

Very responsive he sent out a replacement and worked with me in trying to resolve the issue. Price is a 1/3rd the cost of other moderators. For me, HOLY COW, this product is left me speechless. I don't know if you'll be able to make a gun like mine backyard friendly..cause the smack of the slugs to wood or metal is LOUD!! The gun however, NOT SO MUCH ANYMORE! No I don't have numbers, I just know I can shoot it w/out ear protection now. Before, it was no ear protection and be deaf for a while and have ears ringing or ear protection. As I told Chris...pissed off now that I've got no use for my ear plugs! What a double edge sword.

    I also purchased the 1/2 -20 UNF Suppressor. It just screwed onto the end of the adapter and your done. I do a lot of Back Yard Plinking and Pesting with my Aspen, my yard has Pecan trees and well fed Squirrels. I'm in a suburban setting and absolutely love how much quieter this rifle is on High/Low air settings with this adapter/suppressor set up.
    The first time I shot it on high with the suppressor mounted, I had to look and see if I had put it on High power, because it sounded quieter than shots had been on low power without it. If you have a Seneca Aspen PCP.........Buy this you will be very Happy. Thanks Buck Rail

This new moderator with metal 1/2-20 UNF threads leaves plenty of room to fill without having to remover your moderator, and thread-wise is a vast improvement over the older 3D threads on the original Buck Rail P-Rod moderator. I can also attest to it's backyard friendly noise dampening. The performance of this moderator in fit, finish and decibel reduction is as good or better than DonnyFL or 0db moderators cost 4-6 times as much, and I have several with which to compare. Terry has hit a walk-off homerun with this.

    So I contacted the folks at Buckrail to ask a question. I was seeing an issue where my shot group opened up a little when I put the moderator on. I just wanted to know if I could modify the moderator to help with this issue. To be clear at 50 yards out of my .30 I was seeing my groups go from 3/4" to 1.5" give or take. Before even answering my question there was a new moderator in the mail. They really didn't have to do that. I was prepared to run a drill down it, or whatever else it would take to clear it up. I knew it wasn't that big of a deal. This makes the third moderator I have from Buckrail, and I also have their stock for my Avenger. This is a company I will support as long as they are in business and I am shooting airguns. Thanks Buckrail!

    I received the tapered .177 caliber suppressor today along with the Hatsan Jet I & II/ threaded adapter.
    This is the second suppressor I ordered from you, the other was for a Seneca Dragonfly.
    The Jet II was so loud out of the box, that the first shot really was painful to hear, thus requiring the wearing of
    ear protection. It took all about 30 seconds to attach the suppressor and the first shot with it on, I still cannot
    believe how quiet it is. I thought maybe it would dampen the sound a bit, but it basically eliminated the sound of
    the pistol. Thank you for such a quality product at that price point.

    Just purchased the suppressor for my Walther Parrus .177 springer. I fired 2 shots without and 2 shots with and I really couldn’t tell the difference from where I was as all I could really hear was the mechanism. As I live in central PA, it was too cold to fool around with it so to get a good idea as to how effective it is, I will have to wait for warmer weather. I watched a video of, I think, the air gun detective, and he tested the suppressor with a Walther Parrus .22 springer and gave it a good review, hence my reason for the purchase. I’ll have to go with his rating for now.

    Purchased a tapered .25 moderator for my .22 Avenger because I fill with a Hill hand pump. As advertised it moderated the sound down so I can shoot in the backyard, removing some of the bark of the discharge. I would expect the same from a $200 unit, it's not a silencer it's a moderator. I will buy another for my Walter Parrus springer, just because. Seems well made for a 3D piece. Careful tightening it down on the DonnyFL adapter, it can be removal resistant. Good job Buck Rail!

Have not used it yet due to time constraints. Would be nice if there was a reasonable option for the adapter from your site non Donfi. But seems like it should hold up with the threaded insert. What stood out on these 3D prints is the metal insert, remove and install as many times as I want, awesome. I ordered 1/2-20 for my 25 cal Sumatra Carbine, a powerful and loud pcp. WOW, can shoot it at high power in my backyard and sounds like it is shooting at lowest power which was the only way I could shoot it before in my back yard. I could not believe this plastic LDC could quiet this rifle as much as it did, Just WOW!!!! Will be ordering more.

    Got it for my hatsan, that already comes with a qe. Put the adapter on the end of the qe, plus this, so it literally has two silencers stacked-I couldn’t believe how quiet it was. Significantly more quiet than any .177 pistol or rifle. I’m shooting a .25 33 grain at around 1000fps, with my tune up, and I don’t hear a thing. When I know without the cans on it, it’d probably be close to a real .22 in terms of loudness. Great buy. Great for any backyard shooters.

    I'm afraid my review isn't good. although the suppressor worked great in the sound category, it changed my POA by 4 inches, and the pellets were going through the target sideways and when I checked the muzzle end of the suppressor with a flash lite i could see evidence of clipping on the first baffle in on the muzzle end. So upon removing the suppressor, the POA returned to my original zero. The barrel was centered to the shroud with a DonnyFL adapter and was zeroed before the suppressor was installed. I know sum adjustment might be necessary and i tried to zero it but it was to erratic due to the clipping. so i'm sorry it just didn't work for me

    I have a new air Venturi avenger .22 cal and whilst not deafening it’s definitely not backyard friendly so I was in the market for a suppressor. Most cost more than half the price of the rifle so when I saw the buck rail I was skeptical but at the price point I had to try it. Shipping was remarkably quick and once attached I was very surprised at just how quiet it made my rifle. No need to worry about upset neighbors. Quality is great and it looks good too. Can’t recommend this product highly enough and it’s made in USA.

    Honestly, I was a bit skeptical of a 3d printed anything, but I was mistaken. I shot it on two rifles, my Prod and my JTS Airacuda Max. The JTS didn't like it for some reason (to be fair, it don't like my Tanto either) but my Prod loves it and it does the some job of the Tanto and my 0DB just as good. The design looks good and the cone tapers down to almost the same diameter as my Prod barrel. I'd say I'll be back for more, but that already happened. Keep up the great work!!

    Hi Folks , I've bought 2 of the screw on moderators, I placed one on my 2240 which I built into a pcp carbine , it quiets the report by 70 percent.
    On my crosman icon I only get about a 45 to 50 percent reduction because a lot of the sound is hammer bounce and the pcp cylinder pinging , if you are considering purchasing don't hesitate. I really didn't need 2 moderators but The value is so great I wanted it while the prices are still reasonable

This moderator screwed right on and substantially reduced the sound. What a great value!     I already purchased one for my 1322, so when I wanted to cut down the noise on my Sig P226 pellet pistol, I knew this would be perfect. The threaded barrel on the Sig is a weird size, so I needed to pick up an adapter for the 1/2-20 thread. Makes the whole set up look amazing and really cuts down the CO2 "pop" to just a shushing noise. I will likely get one more for my 2240 custom when it arrives.

    I purchased the suppressor in .22 cal. The initial unit had something that I was concerned about. The quickly shipped a replacement unit(I wasn't expecting that you guys, thank you). Using my Barra .22 PCP air gun I shot a few shots at very close range(6 Yards) at a splatter target and the group was just okay. I attached the Buck-Rail suppressor and the group tightened up and shot 1 inch higher(point of impact)!

    Received my order one day early and I am impressed with the product. I tested the suppressor on my modified 2240 (steel breach, bored out transfer port, shaved bolt, modified valve, adjustable hammer spring, and 18 inch barrel). The unsuppressed report with fully compressed hammer spring was 106 db. I wear ears to shoot it.

    Observations:

    1. Accuracy unaffected
    2.Velocity unaffected (489 avg 21.14 HN Barracuda Match, the most accurate pellet for me)
    3.Super quiet 92 db at 3 feet.
    4. No Clipping.
    5. No ears needed.

    I watch Air Gun Detective and he recommended your product. He was right, great suppressor.

I got the 30 caliber version for my Huben K1 to make it really backyard friendly and this suppressor really did. My regret is I wish I would have got some more before July 1st. I may get some in the future, just have to put more in my piggy bank. One more thing the finish on the suppressor compliments my air rifle so that's another bonus.

    I use this on my modified Crosman 1322 with a 14.6" barrel. With a modified valve and piston, the gun was starting to get noisier and noisier as power was increased. I was pretty excited to try this out, and I figured I would only use it once in a while. I found that it works so well that I basically don't shoot without it now. Oddly, it seems that shot consistency has improved since installing this. FPS is slightly increased at low pumps and slightly decreased at high pumps, breaking even around 9 or 10 pumps. I also have the plumper pumper which is great!

    Nice, affordable suppressor. I like the honeycomb finish. This works good with CO2 guns and most PCP guns. I bought this for my Xisico Sentry 705-9 in 25 caliber which has a sharp report even on lower power settings and this suppressor has no effect on noise whatsoever. I would go as far to say it actually seemed louder. I swapped it to my Zoraki Ultra in 22 caliber and it reduced the report by half. I rate this suppressor at 5 stars because it works on all my other guns with the exception of the Sentry 705.

    I threaded one of these on my Walther Parrus .177 break barrel. It's one of my favorite rifles, but it has a hell of a bark, particularly with a light pellet. With the silencer, the only thing you hear is the action.

    So I wasn't tempted to grip the silencer while cocking and snap the moderator, I braided anout 4" of paracord under the sight group, over a base of 3M foam tape. It gives a nice, secure hold, preserves the finish and looks quite tactical.

    For the price, it's a great item. Does the job. Looks badass.

I snapped one of mine (my fault). Now I wrapped it in a thick layer of duct tape and it’ll hold up much better.

    I wanted to give this seller 5 stars because they made my situation with a defective unit right very quickly, but I did want to share my experience.

    Do not attempt to over-crank this while screwing them on. It is plastic. I probably got a bum unit, but when I screwed this onto my walther parrus .177, it cracked at the bottom (seemingly from being over torqued). So just be mindful when attaching. I got a refund right away, and ordered a replacement

I highly recommend picking up as many of these as you can. There are plenty of adapters available to turn your straight barrel into a threaded end that will receive this suppressor. Good job Terry!

    How does it sound? Well the bolt release make as much sound as the discharge. Those are two distinct sounds on a Crosman 2240XL. Without it you can't hear the bolt release because the gas discharge is so loud. With it it sound as if there were a -9DB suppression. That's a lot. But don't call me on it. I will measure it and report back.

    As others have said it is a great value for the money. Yes a $1-200 premium "moderator" will look better. I don't buy for looks, not that this looks bad. It does look good.

    It's exactly what I would expect from a Brother Veteran. Thank you for your service and this piece of kit.
